The 1st one / 一枚目

I've started to paint with the pigment made from fired sand from the River Thames in UK, after a long preparation since I collected them last year.
It's my first painting ２０１６….....still soaked.
It will take one day to get dry the surface. Then the color of the each sand turns whitish as if it borns again modesty.
While the surface is wet it looks bright and vivacious. I like it as well.

ついに描き始めました。
昨年テムズ川で採集した砂を焼いて顔料を作るのに、とても長い時間がかかりました。
2016年の一枚目です。まだ濡れています。
表面が乾くのに一日かかります。表面が乾くと砂の色はどれも白っぽくなって慎み深く見えます。
表面が濡れている間は、鮮やかで瑞々しく見えます。これもまた良い感じです。
